Dog Breeds by Trait

Every breed profile on this site carries recorded traits: a size class, a group, a family, scores for energy, training, shedding, grooming and barking, notes on life with children, other dogs and strangers, and, for many breeds, a historical working role and a coat description. This hub turns those records around. Instead of starting from a breed and reading its traits, it starts from a trait and lists every breed the records give that trait. A page exists only where at least eight breeds carry the value, and no breed is ever placed by guesswork: if the records do not state a trait for a breed, the breed is not on the page.

The hub holds 72 trait lists and 6884 breed listings in all, each list computed from the same records the breed profiles are built from.
